QUALIFICATIONS:
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. You are expected to arrive at work at the scheduled time. If unable to come to work at the specified time, you are expected to contact your supervisor as soon as you know, so that arrangements can be made for a substitute.
2. You are responsible for knowing the policies of the program in regards to:
a. communicable disease and exclusion of sick children
b. first aid and medical emergency
c. Fire evacuation
d. tornado and severe weather evacuation
c. child abuse reporting
f. discipline
g. termination
3. You are expected to dress appropriately in compliance with the Center's dress code policy.
4. You are responsible for signing in and out on a daily basis. The bookkeeper will only pay you for the hours for which you have signed in.
5. Upon arrival, at the beginning of your shift, you are expected to get a report on your children from the head teacher of your assigned pod. A sample of the report is included in the orientation manual.
6. You are responsible for aiding head teachers in the completion of their work, so they can leave on a timely basis.
7. You are expected to keep open communication between head teacher, parents, supervisor, director, and other team members.
8. You are responsible for equally aiding in the completion of the closing procedures. These include
a. washing toys every day b.
taking out garbage from infant area and activity room
c. vacuuming activity room
d. vacuuming pods if necessary
