As a Fry Cook, you’ll play a crucial role in a fast-paced kitchen, specializing in fried foods. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Setting Up and Breaking Down: Prepare the frying station by setting it up at the beginning of your shift and breaking it down at the end.
  2. Assisting with Prep Work: Help with food preparation tasks, such as cutting ingredients and organizing supplies.
  3. Frying Food to Order: Cook food items in the deep fryer according to customer orders.
  4. Grill Assistance: Occasionally assist on the grill when needed.
  5. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep your work area clean and organized.
  6. Organizing the Walk-In Freezer: Ensure proper organization of ingredients and supplies.
  7. Adhering to Safety and Sanitation Policies: Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
  • Experience: Culinary training or restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Basic cooking techniques.
    • Ability to operate kitchen equipment (including deep fryers and grills).
    • Food handler’s card.
    • Physical stamina to stand for the entire shift.
    • Organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
