Essential Function
· Jobsite set-up.
· Utilize leveling devices
· Panel Installation
· Install metal trim work and sheet metal work
· Saws, if applicable.
· Generator, locate power source from building.
· Work table for flips, plans, etc.
· Discuss with foreman areas and orientation of where panels will be installed daily.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area at all times throughout the day.
· Prepare a sufficient quantity of panels ahead of time for installers at all times throughout the day.
· Transport panels to installers as needed, along with shims, fasteners, additional tools, and charged batteries.
· Close all crates and secure materials not enclosed in a crate at end of work day.
· Keep truck interior and toolboxes organized, create a list of supplies when low in stock.
· Ensure lifts are fueled and charged.
· Return all tools to truck and put away organized, secure and neat at the end of the work day.
Required Competencies (the ability to do something successfully or efficiently)
· Must be punctual and reliable.
· Mathematics: Understanding of fractions/inches and reading a tape measure.
· Operate a manlift.
Qualifications
· Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry.
· At least 18 years of age.
· A valid driver’s license.
· Acquire 10-hour OSHA training.
Working Conditions
· Inside/Outside at construction sites.
· Shop environment.
Physical Demands
· Ability to work in all weather.
· Strength: Lifting duties require lifting more than 100 pounds, pushing and pulling 75 pounds.
· Stamina and endurance: perform very physical jobs, conduct strenuous and physically demanding tasks for long hours and in extreme environmental conditions.
· Color vision: Must be able to distinguish color clearly to perform their duties.
